Rusalka UNF School of Dance strives to provide quality Ukrainian dance instruction as part of the Rusalka Ukrainian dance family.
Students are taught following the Rusalka Ukrainian Dance syllabus, a program of instruction designed to inspire, challenge, and elevate dancers of all ages and skill levels.
Students progress through the school to eventually be prepared to audition for the performing ensemble.

Foster Growth
Throughout the year, Rusalka dancers will provide feedback and inspiration to students in their regular classes, enriching their understanding of Ukrainian dance. Students will also have chances to perform at city festivals and beyond.

Dancing Together
Launched in 2020, this initiative strengthens the bond between dancers of Rusalka UNFSchool of Dance and Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble. This collaboration has inspired our dancers and strengthened our dance community.

Standardized Syllabus
Instructional syllabus for all dance classes at the Rusalka UNF focused on fundamental skills, providing a strong foundation for Ukrainian folk dance training.

Technique & Choreography
Dancers of select classes can join technique and choreography workshops, enhancing their weekly training at Rusalka UNF. This initiative offers a chance to learn from professional instructors and choreographers, enriching their dance education.

Receive a $20 credit (per registered dancer) applied to your total registration cost.
Exciting New Programming For 25/26
Studia Enrichment Classes
Refine Ukrainian dance techniques, challenge yourself and develop new skills in a supportive environment.
Ballet Foundations
Focus on mastering the fundamentals of classical ballet, which will enhance your Ukrainian dance technique and artistry. This class is ideal for dancers looking to strengthen their overall dance foundation.
Kozatskij Spirit
Male dancers can learn and practice traditional Ukrainian dance steps, solos, tricks, and character work-designed to build strength, confidence, and a deep connection to Ukrainian culture.
Solos, Duets & Trios
We will be offering dancers the chance to learn solos, duets, and trios for upcoming festivals. Note: these opportunities will only be available to certain classes, with spaces limited.
Note: all of the above additional classes are only available to dancers enrolled in a class at Rusalka UNF School of Dance. Additionally, each class will require a minimum number of dancers for it to be offered.

Classes begin
Monday, Sept 22nd | Wednesday, Sept 24th | Saturday, Sept 27th
A Registration Package including class placement will be sent out in late August/early September 2025.
